13.002 Almost Went to Steele yesterday to try for my 12 sec title before i get the TC and more, even got some Nitto tire insurance, but all i could pick up is a new personal best which was dissappointing to say the least:

I guess it runs REAL strong for the mods and 2.73's but gears are in the very near future, several times it actually bogged and would not let me heat up the tires well, talk about embarrasing moments, all in all if a bug farted halfway down the track all would be well, i actually picked up MPH as the night went on but the track went away, should i stick with 2.73's and just add power and TC? This is after all a daily driver with 1 monthly track outing, let me know

I'm with you time wise. Soo close to 12's, yet soo far away. I ran a 13.17 1/4 mile at 109 mph. My 60' time is what is hurting me though. I'm sure that with a torque converter you'll be in the 12's easy. I'll be getting some 4.10's in the near future.

LOL going sunday! Going to wash and wax it, pull the sway bar and spare and practice my launch some more, should be able to make more runs, im getting that damn slip

I pulled my ft. swaybar and it helped me hook better. I barely have to do a burnout on my nittos and have zero wheelspin off the line. You'll get in the 12's w/o the swaybar and spare/jack. This cooler weather is helping mine a lot also.
