Come out to Redline Raceway this weekend...air looks good. I'll be in my red Formula, either with a Michigan plate on it or my new Texas one, if I get by the tax office for tags tomorrow. Passed with flying colors.

I didn't know you lived here now! After chasing you on the SI list for two years, maybe I'll see you out at the track sometime.

I usually go to Kennedale though - when I have a car! lol Redline's a little far for me - I live in Ft. Worth.

'Crack for drag racers' - LOL!

The fun part Matt is watching these guys try to get traction at the temp the track is. The DA isnt everything.

HRP closes for the year Dec 18th. They will likely be closed tonight because the track itself is too cold. The track manager says there has to be some sunlight on the track to heat it up to some degree or they will not even open as scheduled.

Like Madman stated, the track could possibly be as slick as owl **** based on the track track temp so in some cases the DA is irrelevent. The lightly modded cars can get them a new best though.

Of course Madman is going to make it his own personal challenge to my wife's SS to hook when I get it rolling again because he loves me

Believe me us Northern boys know all about low temps and slippery tracks. We just got a foot of snow last night. Oh well time to tear out the drag sled.
