Blue Voodoo Hardcore was at the Edelbrock Pro Series race at Beech Bend this weekend. In the first round of qualifying I witnessed the car go 8.0@180ish. I talked with the driver, though I don't know what Ronnie looks like, I assume it was him, he said they stepped up the tune-up for the 2nd round of qualifying and they blistered the tires and aborted the pass. I did not get to stay for the final round of qualifying. The car is 430 cubic inches as I heard over the track speakers. The new record for Denso Pro Street was set today, 6.42@227 and this was from a nitrous car.
