Default I love da 2-step

Not really much to say about last night, my first 3 runs my shiftlight wasnt working (ground wire came undone under the dash, fixed it), 1st and 3rd run the 2step didnt engage cuz the clutch wasnt down all the way. But the 2 times it DID work (2nd and 4th run) it was awesome. SO much more consistant and takes the guesswork out of pedaling the throttle out of the hole.

With the 2-step set at 4800rpm,
2nd run 60'=1.61 (then I missed 4th gear)
4th run 60'=1.58 New Best 60! Shiftlight was working and went 11.76@118. Not really ideal racing weather, but w/e.

Now that I got the launch down, expect some new bests this fall To compare, my 11.58@120 run was with a 1.69 60'. Doing a little math if I can pull a 1.58 again in the fall I should be able to drop another .15 off my 1/4.

I highly recommend it for 6speed cars. You dont have to guess anymore when launching. Just find the right RPM so it doesnt spin too much or bog and let 'er rip every time. Harlan used to make these 2-steps, but doesnt anymore. Last I heard he was working on another one to bring out. I got mine used for $200.

well if you can find a used Harlan unit, its pretty simple. I didnt install it (due to my laziness), but theres 2 plugs that connect to each side of the coil packs, a wire that you run to a switch (I used the trunk release button), a ground wire, and a wire to the PCM.
