track hi, i have a 97 camaro ss, 6spd. and my mods right now are. bbk shorty headers,moroso cold air,flowmaster,stock 3.42s. and i know ths doesn' help, but it has a cam in it. everyone tells me prolly just a lil bigger than stock. it was in the car already when i got the car. well i ran at the track friday night. and i only ran a 14.4@96mph does that sound about right?? i was hoping atleast really high 13. although i did bog down on the launch a lil, and had a 2.3 60' time. could that have been a lil of the prob? i tried launching at 2k thinking at i would spin way too much being on street tires, and well i didn't spin at all. what do you guys think?

Practice is definately your friend here. Even getting the 60 foot into the 2.0 range will knock a good 3-5 tenths off your 1/4-mile time. The more you practice the better you'll get and the lower the ET's become
