hi, i have a 97 camaro ss, 6spd. and my mods right now are. bbk shorty headers, moroso cold air, flowmaster, stock 3.42s. and i know ths doesn' help, but it has a cam in it. everyone tells me prolly just a lil bigger than stock. it was in the car already when i got the car. well i ran at the track friday night. and i only ran a 14.4@96mph does that sound about right?? i was hoping atleast really high 13. although i did bog down on the launch a lil, and had a 2.3 60' time. could that have been a lil of the prob? i tried launching at 2k thinking at i would spin way too much being on street tires, and well i didn't spin at all. what do you guys think?

Need to get the 60 fts down. Practice is the key.

Practice is definately your friend here. Even getting the 60 foot into the 2.0 range will knock a good 3-5 tenths off your 1/4-mile time. The more you practice the better you'll get and the lower the ET's become

Good luck!

My 95 Z28 bone stock (auto with 3:23s) ran 14.1 @ 97mph on a 2.1 60ft...

You SHOULD be able to do better than that if you can drive.
