Finally!
Finally! About a month and a half ago, I took my car to the dragway for the first time. I'd raced my old 3.8 a lot but obviously, this is a little different. It was about 90 degrees and super humid. I couldn't beat a 14.1 for some reason.
So tonight went back with vigor and produced some half decent times. I also wanted a good base to compare once I install my LS6 intake...
Runs in order:
1st - 13.933 @104 w/ 2.345 60'
2nd - 13.752 @104 2.278 60'
3rd - 13.443 @106 2.113 60'
4th - 13.512 @106 2.206 60'
5th - 13.315 @106 2.111 60'
It was super busy and crammed the last 3 in right before they closed...everyone was leaving. I wish I could have had another run though. I still feel there's plenty of room for improvement. I'm psyched I actually ran a 13.3. I wouldn't be surprised if I get the launch down a tad better and put the LS6 on...Maybe I'll be in 12 second territory.
