Default Just got back from the track and........

I got a new best ET and a new best MPH run! The weather, track prep and LS1 gods were with me today

Previous best ET run was 12.5 @ 109 on a 1.76 60'.

New best ET run went as follows:

R/T----.868
60' ----1.712
330----5.100
1/8----7.928
MPH---86.29
1000--10.385
1/4---12.461
MPH--108.73

Best of all, I was racing a LS1 vette that cut a better tree but still lost as he ran a 12.78 @ 106. I love it when I beat vettes (since I usually lose )

Previous best trap speed run was 12.7 @ 110 on a 1.99 60'.

Tonights best trap:

R/T----1.344 (I was really sleeping on that tree )
60' ----1.841
330----5.250
1/8----8.083
MPH---86.46
1000--10.538
1/4---12.616
MPH--111.13

Now I know I'm not really a 111 MPH car but it was damn nice to see it once on my stalled autos timeslip

I'm happy as hell tonight and think it's time to celebrate

Oh, and I backed the new best up with a 12.47 @ 108 later in the day. That deserves another shot

Nothing like a good nap before a race.

Congrats on the win and the new best!

Nice runs. Put a cam in there and you will be in the 11'S.

Thanks. But don't get me started. I all ready bought ETP 215 heads, Cam, Fast 90/90, pulley & a NX 150 wet kit. Now I'm not sure the stock bottom end can handle that much power so I'm looking at another 3-5K for a shortblock or take a chance and roll the dice with the stock one.

Decisions, decisions.

A stock bottom will handle plenty of power. Stick a cam and heads on there, and roll with it!

Nice runs by the way, its always a good feeling to set a new personal best.

It's not the heads and cam I am worried about. It's the 150 shot of N20 on top of the heads/cam not mixing well with piston #7 that worries me.

But thanks and yes it feels great!
