no i stuck with the Hogan's sheet metal intake. i would probably be better off with a vic. jr. those intakes flat out work! if someone wants to flip 2500 for my sheet metal intake and throttle body i might part with it 
actually the track was prepped well that weekend. the other car has a 560ish cubed , big chief headed BB, with 2 nitrous pro flow direct port kits on it, he was using both i think to have striped the entire length of the track. i actually think he would have run quicker with one stage. he went 8.29 in qualifying on sat. with one direct port kit. you had to stay in the groove.

correction, the nova has a 632 ci BB, if it was only a 555ci i might have been able to read his license plate when he hit the stripe lmao!!!!
