this was incredible!!!

this may be hard to believe but i think my car broke a record the other night. i drive a 97 Trans Am and my ONLY modification is a 3.73 ring gear. i went to the track the other night and ran a 13.895 @ 99mph. holy crap, maybe you guys have seen this before, but it completely blew my mind. i think the weather was the deciding factor. it was about 70 degrees and somehow my street tires didn't spin at all so i got full traction. any thoughts?

a buddy of mine w/ a 93 formula went 13.6 bone stock, then gutted the cats and added cutout and went 13.3

My 96 z28 bone stock with a paper air filter took it straight from the dealer to the track and went 13.78 at 101

Not at your time...but at how many times i've read "broken a record" in this thread.

That is quick, and you should be happy, but its far from any sort of record.
