Stock + 150shot.
1st run on motor got me a 7.95@87 with a 1.75 short time.
2nd run with the 150 turned on got me a 7.59@88 with 1.72 short time. I got the window switch arming at 3000 and with the 3500stall it comes pretty quick. As soon as the n20 hit, I hear a nasty bang, I let out for a sec, dont hear anymore noise, so I ran it out. Called it a day after that.
I need to get my shift points straightened out first. The n20 is turned off at 5900 and 2nd gear is winding out to 6500 right at the line. Then I'm going to switch to a 26" tall slick instead of these 28's. Now I gotta go get the car in the air and see whats broke.
Any comments welcome.
Stock valve train? If so you are really pushing it at 6500 - stock red-line I believe is like 6250. You do realize that with the switch cutting off the nitrous at 5900 and you shifting at 6500 the last 600 rpms are engine only? You need to figure out your red-line and set your shift points 100 rpms under that, with the nitrous cut off 100 rpms below your shift points.
Good luck - your times are very very respectful for a stock engine.

David, lol. Dont know what else to say.
I guess my post was misguiding. I should have included some more specifics.Yeah I was trying to make our last race of the year here and a few things didnt get here in time to make the race. I had no 6K+ pills for the switch so 5900 it was. I have been trying to get these shift points right for week or so and obviously I'm not there yet. 6500 is too high I agree. The 28's are alright, but they are rubbing and I was actually cutting better 60fts on my 275/40/17 MT Dr's which are 26" tall.
So, I have a few things to buy and a few things to fix, but I have a while to get them done now.
Thanx again,
Rick
