1st time at the track! and everything went wrong!
1st time at the track! and everything went wrong! So yesterday I went to US41 and ran my car for the first time. Now first off ill say that my clutch is going (its original at 100k miles) and the tires are pretty bald, plus I think I have a bent pushrod. to top things off, the tsp y pipe i have never really fit that well and somehow it worked the clamps off and the passenger side cat fell on the way there and was scraping. I spent the first hour messing with it only to have it fall off again anyway! I pushed it up and made three passes, with a best of 13.6 at 107 with a 2.31 60 foot, which is pretty good I think all things considered! Im thinking of going again next week and trying again, and this time we'll go early!. I was spinning the whole way because I didnt have enough practice, I hope to improve a lot. Thanks to the red camaro that lent me his jack and blackbird that lent me some tools! hope to see everyone again and it was tons of fun
