yeah i attended the event, and they were showing the ETs on the boards prior to the second round. not to mention i've seen both of those cars at the track on seperate occasions and neither ran those numbers. that Nova that got booted was the nicest car in the bunch. all but maybe 3 or 4 of the final 20 had all of the proper safety equipment to run 11.0 or better but all they preached all day long was how "this is all about safety, blahblahblah...." really pretty lame to see how they presented it on the show. they edited out the footage of when the ****** *** host of the show passed out from being to hot...now THAT was funny ****.

i liked it but when retard shut the tree off and started hand dropping i thought that was lame. he must've felt like he wasnt getting as much time in front of the camera as he needed

I wasn't too much for the show. 10.0 is entirely too easy to cheat on. At least the 9.0 setup will be harder to cheat and more entertaining to watch.
Still, if it was around here I'd find a way to get my car to slow up to 10.0's that'd be fun.
It'd be cool to see them run a .400 pro tree with 10 second cars. None of them would react quick enough to cut a decent light so it'd be whoever was bumping in the deepest and cutting the lights.

I thought it sucked. That was the first Pinks episode I could not sit all the way through because of it sucking so bad. They crammed 14 hours of the day into the first 8-10 minutes of the show and then focused on the "Sweet 16".
skipperbisket - The black C6 Z06 did run a 10.1, which is pretty damn close to a 10.0
Less than half of the cars had the safety equipment for the times they were running either. I was a pretty big fan of Pinks until that event/show. It was one of the most un-coordinated events I had ever been too.

I was there. I didnt like it though i thought it was BS anybody that ran faster than 10.0 was kicked for being too fast!? My boy Mark Bewley ran a 9.30 in his blue 78 Camaro and got the boot for being too fast. I was actually on TV too me and my pops snuck down on the line i was in the huddle at the end when that truck and the chevelle ran...LOL

It was a 10.0 bracket race, the silver C6 ran a 10.40 or something like that, the other black C6 Z06 never made a clean pass but somehow ended up in the final 16......
The whole event was jacked, run by people who know nothing about cars.

Actually, if they tweaked it a little, it would be more interesting..
First off, instead of GIVING them money, it should be the racers who put up, & the winner get a bonus from the show...
Second, I'd like to see owners with their STREET cars that they run..
No trailered cars.. Drive it to the track, race it, drive it home..
11.0's would do well...
Guys have nothing to lose with this format the way it is...

The show had it's flaws.. but better then the regular b.s. Putting up $ to enter might make it better, something I'd still do. Be nice to actually have driven to the track street cars too...... which kinda 1/2 eliminates my car.... unless I pulled the old trailer it 20 miles from the track gimmick LOL>
