How fast? with new mods

I want to know how fast will I go before i go to the track this weekend and not be dissapointed. My car is a 98 Z28 which i ran last month and it ran 8.7 81mph at the 1/8 mile, since then I added pacesetter race headers, and a ls6 intake and a better ported throttle body and a good tune, and was wondering what should i run now, I'm realling hoping 8.3 or better.

I think you can get if your 60 is good

depends on a lot of things: weight of the car, gears, track prep(go to redline or kennedale), tires, etc. looking at your mph is your car an auto? i would think a realistic low 8.50 will be a good estimate. my full weight car A4 car with gears, bolt ons, working suspension, MT et radials, and LS1 edit tune went 8.31 @ 87 mph on a decent track. good luck.

My previous 60 was 1.8 and it was in yellow belly and dont know how that track compares to the other ones.

damn. you sixty footed 1.8. is this an auto or stick. if automatic, what converter is in it. also what tires were you running as well as the gears.

well i done pacesetters ory cutout wieand intake same as ls6
ported tb lid and 3.73s and a tune.with the cutout open air filter removed on et streets i gained 1.1 and 7mph but my 60 wasnt as good as stock and this was in terrible weather.

It is an auto with a stock stall, I didnt spin at all

Well i took my car to the track today, and i only lower my e.t by a tenth, but gained 4 mph, I was spinng real bad in alomost all of them since the track was cold, so runnin 8.6 85mph in the 1/8 equals to what in the 1/4 mi
