Mods and time in sig. Ran with full tank of gas, first day on the D/R and tires PSI was at 18. note the 2.73 gears and awesome 60' lol. Is this a decent time for what I have???

full slip:

60' 1.977
330 5.329
1/8 8.143
MPH 87.24
1000 10.555
1/4 12.591
MPH 110.57

best MPH of the night was 112.76 (twice actually, exactly same)

At first glance, with your mod's you'd say on the slow side....BUT with the 2.73 gears you can understand. Not sure why you have done the entire build and still not done gears. 3.73's will pick up your set-up. Even at full weight 11's are possible. Get your 60's down, your time will drop.

X2 Very nice setup but ya gotta get rid of them 2.73s.You should be easily into the 11s right now.

Thanks, yeah, I still drive some road trips ~300 miles there and back to my hometown while I'm in college so the 2.73s are very nice for that. Gears are a definite once im out though. It's my DD too. After college and some $$$$$ I plan on getting a DD and going crazy on the Z.

I'd say not bad as well. I can understand wanting to hold on to the gears for cruisability. Maybe a compromise and go 3.42?

Yeah 3.42 is definitely a consideration, as long as I do a 3 series carrier or the spacer so I can put 3 series gears into my car. So, if you know anyone with a rear or carrier with gears I can purchase...

i'd say something was up.......... did you spin at ALL with that 1.97 60'??? even at full weight and 2.73 gears, i'd think the car should 60' better... i'd say it was good for a stock stall 60' with those gears, but you should atleast be able to hit in the 1.8 range.

anyone else thinking along those lines???

HAHA yeah I shift 3rd right before I pass the traps. I couldn't get the tires to hook well off the line is why my 60' was high. It was the first time out with the setup and tires. Just gotta practice.

good - i'd say go try it out some more, and let us know your results when you dead hook the car. shouldn't be a problem with those tires. if you have problems, take off the front sway bar... it works wonders w/ sotck suspension cars. haha.

if that still doesn't get you there (which it should) then air down the tires more between 14-16psi.
