My first run in the 02SS, Comments and or ideas to improve PLEASE Went to Norwalk last night and ran the SS for the first time. I have a A4 that is bone stock. My first run was 13.47 @ 103mph and the second one was 13.42 @ 104. I know those aren't great numbers but what do you guys think? My 60ft time sucked. They both were 2.02. My reaction time was pretty good but traction overall was terrible.
For a stock A4 I think 13.4 is pretty respectable! That equates to roughly a 8.54 1/8 th time, which is almost 2 tenths faster than my 2.73 geared '01 Z. The sixty foot was about right for a stock unstalled auto on street tires. Overall I say good runs!
I went to the track last night for the first time. I own a 2002 Camaro SS M6 with a SLP lid, magnaflow muffller and shorty short stick. First pass I ran 14.0 at 102mphw with a 2.3 60ft. Second pass I ran 13.7 at 102 with a 2.1 60ft. I know thats slow compared to most of you guys. I had an awesome time and can't wait to go again. Hopefully I learn how to drive better and get into the low 13's.

I agree those are great times for a stock A4 with street tires. If the car has 3.23 gears, don't look for a ton of improvement with drag radials.
I'd say it's time for the mods to begin!
