Embarrasing 1/8 mile Disappointing night at the track

I had the gear problem after I installed my new clutch. With the mods you have you've proboly done the drill mod and heat wrapped the line correct? If not they make a HUGE difference. I could barely get mine into third and now its smooth at high RPMs.

Unless the dyno figures are off, I agree the times should be much better. I'm running about the same trap speed but with a 1.52 60 foot time and times in 7.20-range with my Nova at 3500 lbs with an automatic and 370 rwhp! I'm sure your weight can't be more than mine, so just keep making runs to get yourself comfortable (unless there's a problem part or reason for the lack of performance). Your making some CRAZY rwtq, you should be able to get some better 60fts with just the tq. You said it was hard to get into gear at higher RPM, well from the vid you could definitely could get into 2nd quicker. You also have a pretty high trap too so there is more in it for sure. I'd say you could hit 7.5's.
Last time at our local track I hit a best of 7.9 so dont feel to bad, I know I can get better though. I didnt hit third as quick as I could have and it was my first time out with slicks. Gears are coming soon!!
