Default I Need help

Well Been going to the track and here is acouple of my timeslips. Should'nt my times be alittle faster for the mph I am running? Tell me what I need to do. This is with a 96 Z28 with longtube headers with 3" pipe dumped before the axle stock, gears, intake, a/c delete pulley, Spec 3 clutch, and some weight reduction. I might be forgetting something but for the most part thats is what I am running. For the tires they are 275 bfg's street tires. So let me know what you think. I am P421 on the slips. Thanks for the help. Forgot this is at 4900ft alt and a not so well prepped track.

just looks like traction problems man. a 105 trap should be good for at least mid 13's if you can hook and shift.

and btw your 1/8th mile time is slow for that mph as well. you should be mid 8's with that 85mph 1/8th trap.

I figured If I got some drag radials it would cut my time down alot. My 60ft are sucking too pretty bad. Thinking of removing the sway bar to seeing if that helps any. Thanks for the input

I'm hoping some better tires will help me out, too. My 60' times have been (on average) between 2.2 and 2.4. My better runs are still over 2 seconds on Toyo T1R's.

I hate a pair of M/T ET Streets on the way, so I'm crossing my fingers for 7's in the 1/8th. I've been running mid 8's with no traction at launch or going into 2nd.

Yea I get no traction till about the middle of third and halfway down the track And I am feathering it in first & second gear. I figured with the 275's I would'nt have this much traction problems. Any thoughts on removing the front sway bar? I have Subframe connectors just waiting to put the on. Do they help with traction any? Thanks for the info in advance.
