Default First time ever to the track with the ls1

I was a little disappointed in myself. I had really hoped the car would have went mid 12's. Then again, this was my first time ever going down the track so i didnt really have a good feel for the car, and i was also trying to come off the line like a sissy girl because i didnt wanna hafta get her trailered back to school.

these runs were made today in about 75 degree weather with a strong (15+) mph head wind.

reaction: .7850
60 Ft: 2.10
ET@584Ft: 7.91
1/8th: 8.42
1/4 Et: 13.01
1/4 MPH: 109.12

reaction: .9811
60ft: 2.01
ET@ 584: 7.97
1/8th ET: 8.55
1/4ET: 13.19
1/4Et: 110.1

the third run i was able to make i spun hard through 1st and second and kinda lost hope and ran like a 13.8

no suspension mods at all, fuzion zri's @25psi, patriot cam, hooker headers, y pipe, catback, and lid

Your MPH is there for a mid 12. You need a set of tires to get that 60ft down to the 1.7-1.8 range.

What kind of 60Ft times do you guys pull using a set of drag radials (nittos, bfg, MT) with stock suspension and stock rearend with say the addition of an aftermarket torque arm and SFCs? I was thinking of ordering a set of tires, and doing the above mods so my next time to the track i could hopefully get into the 12's. I was so close on that one run i know that with a little more traction so i can come out off the line harder ill have the times i want.

Moved to Results.

Has the car been tuned? You had more mph and a better 60 foot on the 2nd run but a slower 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile time. Miss a gear or take longer between shifts?

ya the car has been tuned by howard@redline motorsports and really seems to pull awesome down the strip. I didnt miss any shifts all day, but im not sure if i took more time to shift or not. The second run i hooked better but the 1-2 shift spun a little which is why some people said might have resulted ina lower et but higher mph
