First time at the track with a M6
First time at the track with a M6 Check sig for mods. Went to Byron Dragway on Sun. for the first time with a M6. My best time was 12.95@108.52 w/1.98 60' (Bogging.) I was happy to dip into the 12s the first time out but I know the car will go faster. I just need to get my 60' down. I started out trying to slip the clutch at around 3000-3500 but the car just kept bogging. Then on the last run of the day I decided to just dump it at 4500. The car came out like a rocket but the clutch pedal stuck to the floor for a second and killed my run. With a new clutch and hydralics I should be able to get my 60' down and improve my E.T.s
Thanks guys. Yeah I think I could get it to go at leat 12.7x if I can get it out of the hole better. All my runs had absolutely no wheel spin. If I would have tried dumping the clutch earlier in the day before it had too much heat in it I could've probably got a better E.T. No more slipping the clutch, I'm just gona dump it until she goes than get a new one this winter.
