kinda dissapointed
kinda dissapointed i have a H/C bolton car(f13 cam, stage 2.5 PRC 5.3 heads) 3500 stall, 3.73 gears, headers ETC..... ran at huntsville 1/8th mile. temp was probley 70 deg. my best pass was 7.78 @ 90.25 with a 1.81 60' 
it was my first time at the track ever, car ran very consistant. do you guys think im about right for my mods? i need the driver mod of course, but i guess those times are ok seeing as it was put together in my back yard, has a mail order tune and the stock ls1 intake. im thinking ls6 intake, dyno tune, and some suspension work to get that 60 down to 1.6xx ill get 7.4's what do you guys think?

YA you need a real tune. I'll guess and say you will prob gain 2 tenths from a real tune. Prob tenth to 2 tenths with the LS6 intake and then you will prob be sitting around 7.3-.4s..
he forgot to tell you that the 1.81 60' was spinning it ran a few 1.7x 60s and he drove the car an hour to the track.and we hot laped it a few times..I think it ran real good myself..car for sure has more in it.

car was not hooking, i didnt get good burnouts cuz it wanted to walk sideways, i did a good burnout once and i hooked but the motor was heat soaked and didnt run any faster, MPH dropped off to 88 i think on that pass. Jason have you heard any **** from vasser or any of those ****? they angered the camaro and it wants revenge
Work on your launch. Hold at like 3000 rpm and feather the clutch out, if you loose traction, it hurts your time bad. I mean my first time I ran a 15, then I cut it down to a 13 just by feathering the clutch a lil

Get your sixties down a bunch. You need some nice drag radials at least.
My little lt1 car did 1.9x on stock longblock, full weight, less gear, stock converter and street tires in 4200 DA with more heat. Every tenth you lose off of your 60 is 2 tenths on the big end as a rule of thumb.
You never said your rear.. is it a 10 bolt? If so invest in a 9'' and slicks.
Oh and about your mustang rival..a motor car that keeps up with a nitrous car like that will get a lot more respect.

i think the car has high 1.6x 60 ft's in it if it was to hook. yes i have a stock 10 bolt. HaHa calm down jason, i would hate to see a one armed man beat down mo.....lol actually that would be sweet. the rematch is up to you, you will be the driver
