LS1=good back-up bracket racer!
Looks like #4 cylinder connecting rod decided it didn't want to stay together at 6500 rpm just before 1-2 shift. Man it shook like hell and sucked too considering my 2 lights were .016 and .025 before it broke on time run #2. So I hauled *** home to get the Formula, slap on the m/t sportsman pros, and then proceded to win 5 rounds and make the final with only 2 time runs in a car I haven't raced since March!
Deadly consistent too, with my #2 through #5 rounds having 1000 foot times within 2 thousandths of a second! After having a .069 light in the 1st round
I was between .001 and .040 the rest of the night. I had a .001 in the semis and a .010 in the final! Too bad I broke out 13.228 on a 13.24 dial-in. But $200 and some points helped to smooth out what was a rocky night.hope to have pictures of the carnage soon, and hope everyone had a good weekend of racing!

Derek

I know how it is to have to use another Hot Rod to race. I have been racing my 1969 Camaro all season. I will be at the Bracket finals this weekend in Shreveport La. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Good luck to ya and again great job racing.

Coach
thanks man, and good luck to you! I'm trying to stay in the top ten in points so I can run the division 2 finals in October, and last weekend helped a bunch!
