Cage Question
I just bought a 6 point cage for my TA and now I read that next year NHRA is changing the rules requiring a 10 point cage for anyone faster than 10.99.
1) is this true?
2) does Wolfe have a kit to add to a 6 point to make it a 10 point cage?
would like to know before I do the install, just want to do this once
thanks

Re: Cage Question
NHRA to my knowledge has no plans to change the current roll cage and/or rool bar rules, and I haven't seen anything in National Dragster or seen anything in the Rule book stating otherwise. Cars with no floor, firewall or frame mods (wheeltubs or mini-tubbing allowed, but no back-halfs) can run to 10.00 with a 5-point bar (doesn't apply to convertibles of course.)

Re: Cage Question
as long as the firewall and floor are unmodified a 5 point bar is good to 10.00
if you modify/move the firewall and/or modify the floor, a cage is required. That is how it has been for a while
