Default Newbie traction issues!!!

The local track reopened had a chance to run the car and was very disappointed to say the least. My car ran a 11.09 @ 124.84 with a 1.95 60', just feel like alot is being left on the table spinning this bad. The car runs 315 nitto drags and has sub frames, torgue arm, and lower control arms. What else can be done to improve my traction. The car is a automatic with a ss3600, 3:42 gears, 100 shot, all bolt ons, and a small cam. The car still has the stock 10 bolt, so i am a little scared of slicks, any other options. ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Get a real tire. You don't need slicks, an MT DR will do wonders for your 60' times.

Just because your tires are wide doesn't mean they are gonna hook. Even a 255 MT DR on a stock 16 inch rim will most likely greatly improve your times.

yup get rid of the nittos and you'll be in the 10's for sure... your 10 bolt will hold up for a while with the auto .. you def. dont need slicks ..the m/t dr will give you great 60 ft's with the right setup

I really like the look of the 315's, do you think the 315 MT et street radials are to much for the 10 bolt. Can to much traction slow you down?
Thanks

if you're making any kind of power, then the 10-bolt will not be strong enough. I'd go with atleast a 12-bolt

We can also get you set up with a new rear-end from Moser, Strange or Burkhart. Let me know if you're interested.
