Lugnuts for Centerline Convo Pro wheels ???

Lugnuts for Centerline Convo Pro wheels ??? Is everyone using the 12x1.5 with .500 inch shank lug nuts and washers to mount their Centerline Convo Pros? The reason I ask is because the shank extends past the back of the wheel and it looks like it would prevent the lug nut from tightening the wheel on to the hub. ie. the lug nut looks like it would bottom out before it tightened up the wheel.

I just got lugs from summit. Do I need some type of washers too?

Re: Lugnuts for Centerline Convo Pro wheels ??? if you dont have the washers on them, then that is the problem. with out them your lug nuts will bottom out before the rim is tight. then you will have serious problems. the washers take up the extra clearence. these rims need to washers no matter what!!!

Re: Lugnuts for Centerline Convo Pro wheels ??? Ok now I'm lost. Jeg's says to use acorn style lugnuts so that's what I got. They have a taper on the wheel side. I checked the instructions that came with the wheels and it says no washers needed with the acorns but to use washers with the mags. It also says it depends if the wheel has a chamfer on it. I just checked all 4 of mine and they are flat with no chamfer. So do I need differant lugs now???

You do NOT want to use a tapered/Acorn lug. You want flat.
