I currently have a 2000 Trans Am, A4 with stock 10 bolt and 3.73 gears. I am running 26" tall tires. I am going to buy a Moser 9" next month and I was wondering what gears I should get. The car is not a DD and its mostly driven at the 1/4 mile track. My current best is 12.7 @ 107 mph in the quarter mile @ 6000ft above sea level. I do not want to put to low of gears and I will have issues with my trap speed.
3.73 or 4.11?

Depends on the power level you want to be at, if the car stays N/A and at best it has a decent heads and cam, you should be fine, with 4.10's and a 26" tall tire.
If your run a radial, it doesnt expand but a Bias-ply does, about 1" which gives you more rpm to play with.
If the car gets a shot of nitrous or FI, then you will need the 28 or more given the RPM thats needed, given the MPH.
There is a gear calculator in the gear/rear axle section, run through some info and see where the car will be in 4th, given the redline.

Go with the 4.11's. You can run them with the 26" tall tire without crossing too high in the RPM's until you get above 120MPH. If you get to that point and need more room then go with a taller tire. If I was you I might even consider going with 4.30's if it's a track only car.
