14.1 ls1 trans am?

14.1 ls1 trans am? I have a 1999 Trans am with slp lid k&n filter cut out n hypertech programer automatic it ran a 14.1 at 101 my r/t was .208 . Is this average bad or what? it also has 135,000 miles on it i am wondering how much 3.73s n radials will help out my time.

that was only one run it was on a quick 16 day at state capitol dragway in Port Allen LA i have a ZEX wet kit on it but ive never sprayed it at the track. on all motor it seems to suddenly start pulling harder at about 4000rms. I am wondering if the mas air flow sensor may have sumthing to do with that because it felt like it had a horrible miss until i cleaned the black out of the MAF now it runs pretty decent but i have a friend with a 02 ss with header 4.10s n pulled off a 12.60 i dunno what to do

Take the hypertech off, I was at the track with a fellow member when i had my LT1 and he had a 98z28 with about the same mods as you, and i was running the same times as him, low 14's

he took the hypertech tune out of it and ran some mid 13's, hypertech was the only change

it does have a slp lid and cut out and ported maf housing but that is it. it does also have 138,000 miles on it but it doesent spin does anyone think 3.73s radials and headers will bring it into the 12s?
I know this will sound stupid but check your Throttle Body... my car and a friends was not opening all the way...
Make sure car off and just have someone hit pedal all the way to floor and another check the tb make sure it opening all the way.
If not tighten the cable and may need to move clip plate back by drilling holes and slide it back.
