Gear/tire combo... Trying to decide on a couple different combos for the car:
4.56 w/ a 27" slick or 4.88's w/ a 28" slick, but I'm not sure what kind of tire growth we are talking about with slicks and if a 28" slick will work w/out having to bang the **** out of the inner fenders and if the growth would be too much for the wheel wells? Will be using 15X10" wheels.
Car peaks @ 6900rpm. It has ran a best of 120.8mph with 3.73 gears on a 16" Et Street with a 1.9 60' time. It weighs 3750lbs w/ driver. Ultimately I would like to cross the traps at 7000rpm. I'm thinking w/ the right combo I could gain a few mph in the process so that too would need to be taken into consideration.
