Default index guys

What other ways are there to slow down to hit the index other than the ones I have tried

adding weight
short shifting
revlimiting during pass
lowering 2 step off tbrake

I need something very consistant that will not effect my reacton times,60fts or take too much away from my top end charge

I have a digital 7 box maybe I can retard the timing during the pass using a timer or something

lots of the cars in my class are high 8 second cars full out
they run 10.90@148mph type stuff(electronic throttle stop cars)

if I ran superRod(9.90 it would get worse)

Easiest way would be to pull timing and shift points. I'd leave the 2 step alone that will effect how the car leaves, I'd almost leave the timing at the launch rpm alone so the car will react the same all the time and just pull timing in the upper rpm's where the shift points are and past that, this way the car will leave hard all the time and you can detune down track, you want to get the car moving as fast as possible at the launch, so you can be used to that for your reaction times.

To race against throttle stop cars and the like is a VERY diffficult thing without having that technology on your car. You may want to think about putting a carb style TB on your single plane and see if you can adapt a throttle stop to your car, be a surefire way to make it consistant.

FWIW, these cars and lsx enging combo's can repeat, I've run a 9.59, 9.56 and 9.53 3 runs in a row on the same day switching lanes between runs. Good luck with it.

I think with the box I have I can set a rev limiter and a timing retard for each gear
maybe I will mess around and see what I can come up with.I only need to slow down 3 tenths anyway
