mods that didNOT work at the track. (please help) i have a 01 ta with heads,cam,all boltons(no ported t-body)m6. with 3.73's stock suspension 305/40/16 m&h racemaster tires i went a best of 11.89 @ 117.5 1.79 60 foot. ok...now i added bmr lca's w/relocat,adj-tq-arm,pan hard bar and 4.11 gears.the weather was close to the last time i went to the track. today i did a best of 11.91 @ 114.9 1.60 60 foot,what the hell happened? up to this point i was running 2 to 3 tenths slower and my 1/8th and 1/4th mph was down 2 to 3 mph allday. today i also bypassed my power steering pump which i did'nt do when i went 11.89 and added a q-tec cutout. let me say that since i added my new agostino block and had my compr bumped to 11.0:1 i have had no new tuning. to sum this up the 4.11 gears,cutout,and bypassed power steering did nothing. how can my 60 foots drop so much and i run slower? Re: mods that didNOT work at the track. (please help) i must add my bud who was video taping my runs tells me my front tires pulled about 3-inches off the ground,i'll believe that when i see the video tomorrow.

(please help) i went to the lapeer track. i know it's not the best,but it's close. i saw the video and i did pull the driver front wheel off the ground about 4 inches.i cant understand how i can cut my 60foot down by almost 2tenths and run slower.none of the little tricks worked,ice on the intake,short belt,open cutout,I HAVE NO CLUE.
