Shakedown Runs on new combo and Weighed the Car Took my new combo for some shakedown on Sat at byron. Not gonna post times just yet as I had clutch issues, but car hauled *** considering.
Just thought I'd brag about my weight though.
Car was 3,050 lbs without me in it with a 1/2 TANK OF GAS and one leather seat
So I'm thinking 3000 lbs with barely any gas(had 1/2 tank by accident, car got 19MPG on the way to the track, alot more than I expected it would, lol)
I was happy..car has a heavy *** 9" rearend and every bulky suspension piece known to man on it, so I'll take that weight...check out my link in my sig for mods list if interested.
Car had clutch issues on the big end and the sixty foot..I knew this PIECE OF **** centerforce I got in my trade deal with the D&D trans would suck and it does. I couldn't even get the car to accept gears on two passes, only made one clean full pass and one pass good to the 1/8th mile..couldn't shift it fast either or wouldn't take gear..this clutch ******* sucks. But you shoulda SEEN my 1/8th mile MPH, LOTS of potential with this setup
Still isn't tuned yet either....200 miles on everything now.
Hopefully will work out issues and get some times worth bragging about before season is over, no tuning till spring time though realistically, no money left.

Get a better clutch and lets see some MPH out of that thing....

01-Z..TH400 sucked. Wasn't fun to race and I hated how the car was a pain to take anywhere. Was absolutly awesome driving all the way out there and back with no problems and running some great shakedown(well, the one clean one anyway,lol)
I want this car to be the total package, drive it anywhere and run good numbers too.
I'm planning on a pretty long road trip maybe this month to prove what it can do..weather will determine that, no heat in this bitch anymore
