How much et should I drop?
Hello folks. Back on July 4, my best time was a 13.68 @ 104.02 in 90 degree heat and 90% humidity. I am trying the car out this Sunday. The temperature should be around 60 and the humidity about 70%. How much et should I drop? No new mods have been made.

Re: How much et should I drop?
Actually I am going this Sunday. I am hoping for a 13.4 and if I can get below that and improve any in trap speed I'll be happy. I am worried about traction in the cooler weather. Last time out, my 60s weren't great for an A4 car, high 2.1s and lows 2.2s, and that was with no spin. If the pavement is too cool, I worry what I gain in power I'll lose in traction.
My mods are a Loudmouth, SLP Airlid, and FRA. I'd be happy with a 13.4 with those mods and 2.73s. I have a set of 3.42s waiting to be installed that I hope I can get done by next spring.

Re: How much et should I drop?
Well, guys, I attained my goal of 13.4 on my final run. My best time was 13.4029 @ 105.48 mph. My 60' on that run was 2.18. My 1/8 was 8.770 @ 83.95 mph. On all my other runs my times were pretty consistent - between 13.51 and 13.58. My mph ranged from 104.92 to 105.83. All of my other 1/8 times were 8.8 to 8.9. My 60' times killed me all day. Other than that 2.18 on my best run, my times were three around 2.25 and two over 2.3, one of which was closer to 2.4. On the two 2.3+ runs I tried to flash start it and got a lot of wheelspin. I got light spin on one of the 2.2 runs, but not much at all.
I attribute my bad 60 times to a few variables. The track prep wasn't very good. My tires aren't really performance tires - they're Summit Radial Tracs that I bought for mileage, not supergrip, and they have pretty high mileage now, 31,000+. Also, I didn't deflate the tires any, which meant I was racing on about 32-34 lbs. in the rear tires. Next time if I don't have new tires, I will at least bleed the pressure some. Also, from past experience, it seems even when I get good grip, my best 60' times are around mid 2.1s.
What do you guys think? I was pleased with my car, given the 2.73s and my mods. My 60' were pretty crappy. I think the car actually has more than I showed from it.
Next spring I hope to switch to 3.42s and maybe get an LS6 intake, and now, maybe tires for the track.
Oh yeah, temp was 72 and humidity was 41%. There was a brisk little breeze blowing in.
