Default Need advice on lowering car

Hey guys, I am wanting to lower the car with out any negative effect on traction. I want only to lower it about 1" in the front and 3/4" in the rear. I just dropped 3k on a Fab 9" so im broke as hell and cant by a nice coil over setup. What im thinking is cutting the front springs just enough to get me an inch drop and taking the rear isolators out. How will this efect my 60ft times and 1/4 mile times? My set up right now is a bolt on true dual before the axle M6 car with 357 hp and 369 ft/lbs of torque, midwest Fab 9". As far as suspension goes I have sub frame connectors, adj. panhard, adj. torque arm "chassis mounted", and rear control arms that are non adj. but am planning on getting adj. soon. I also have Hoosier D.O.T radials on 15X10 pro stars for rear and some skinnies up front on a 15X3.5. Im just sick and tired of my car sitting up like a damn truck and dont wanna go with any stiffer spring rate. I also plan on getting some double adj. shocks in the future as well. By the way I've tried to search this for 20 minutes before posting and had no luck with the wonderfull search fuction on this site. Thanks in advance!

The relocation brackets help alot for most people but those only work with the 10 bolt rear end as far as I know, the only other thing I can think of are some adjustable lower control arms, and some 315 drag radials, oh and a adjustable panhard bar to have your wheels centered correctly from the lowering, that should be everything.

I'm pretty sure that the relocation brackets will work with any rear. I have them on my strange 12 bolt.

if your car has many miles on it you may find a huge PITA getting the springs off

You'll be fine cutting your rear springs that small amount and it won't mess up your geometry. Mine are cut and I went sub 1.50 sixty foot with a bolt-on only LT1 car.

ps. my car 150k miles on it and the springs came right out.
