2990 lb raceweight

2990 lb raceweight 97 Firebird, v6 to LS1 swap.
FULL WEIGHT REDUCTION.
Only thing in the interior is a driver seat and the dash. The side plastic things that go up to the carpeted roof are there.
Car weighs ~2815 with about 1/3 tank of gas.
Stock k-member a-arms no cage no subframes.
I have an 8pt wolfe c-moly cage that weighs 65.5 lbs to put in.
To save more weight I could do the k-member, a-arms and just run dumps off of the long tubes. Now I have x-pipe with heavy moroso spiral flows.
Taking it to the track sunday to see what it can do. It has every bolt on minus elec water pump. Speed INC Trans as well... HUGE thanks to Larry at Speed Inc for going out of his WAY to help me out and get the car running.

Re: 2990 lb raceweight I've heard about Colonels swiss cheese car for some time now.. and I always wanted to see how close to it I could get. I would be damn happy if he was proud of my attempt to match his tin-can like skills. 
Car is not legel for any classes I don't think except outlaw. Bare metal EVERYWHERE. lol

Re: 2990 lb raceweight 12.4 was with a junkyard motor dropped in.. stock engine trans.. I just removed EGR and AIR pump. I was on nittos and skinnies with a 4.10 gear as well. That's it. Oh, I also had a K&N FIPK.
