Motor plate guys, need pics of mounted alternator. Any pics of a mounted alternator and what you had to do would be great.. Looking for as many different ideas as I need to mount the alternator in my 63 pick up. I think there might be less room than a 4rth gen f-body as the frame rails are fairly narrow and the steering draglink is in that area as well. So the more options and ideas, the better. Thanks in advance.

I was looking at that but I would have to put a hole in the motorplate there reducing material I have. I believe the alternator is too deep to sit there with out cutting.

Mine are cut pretty good and haven't had any issue at the 1000++ hp level

I havent mounted mine yet, but I know Im going to need something unique.
Running the GMPP distributor front cover, ATI balancer, and moroso mandrel drive for vac pump and alternator. My guess is Ill have get a SBC alternator bracket and mount it right to the motor plate.

my plate uses the holes where the BMR brackets attach, and with the distributor front cover, I cant run a standard serpentine dampener.
With all the room on the motor plate, mounting something souldnt be a problem.
