Drag Racing Gurus, Need Some Tips I'm currently reworking my suspension to set it up for drag racing, but still be safe to drive on the street. I drive incredibly sane in day to day driving, don't take corners hard, at or barely above speed limit, very sane. Only thing I dont want to do is pull the front sway bar at this time, but I may before too long. Putting in HAL shocks and springs this weekend, and have a few questions while I have the car up. For a car that sees the track, will you see benefits or will you be hurt by subframe connectors? What about a strut tower brace? Just trying to see what I need to add that I dont have, or pull what I do have, to get the car doing it's best on the track. Thanks for any help.

I run my hals at 2 in the front and 4 in the back at the track. 6 all the way around on the street.
What kind of tires are you running at the track?

Re: Drag Racing Gurus, Need Some Tips Kumho street tires for now, and not looking to go to slicks and skinnies yet. Wanting to know the skinniest tire I can run up front on my 17x9s (245/?/17) and I'll throw some Nittos on the back. Not going ALL out, but I do want to do my best with what I've got or what I can get for a reasonable price. Already have bolt in SFCs and a STB, but could pull both and sell if need be. Time may come for some slicks and skinnies, but for now I'll see how far I can get
