Ok guys, I did a search and did not find exactly what I need.
01 camaro with a MWC 9"
1/2 studs 2.5" long
I bought a set of used 15x10 prostars, ordered Weld racing lugnuts from Summit for prostars. I talked to the guy over the phone on what exactly I have.
Well I get home from vacation and the damn lugnuts wont go thru the rim. Part #601-1426 open end. The shank is too fat to fit. Do I have the correct lugnuts?
I paid $12.50 x3 sets (12 lugnuts total) and today they show up on Summit $5 per set of 4, hmmmm, WTF
Also the rims I got have a floating spacer in them. Is this and old style rim or?

Those should be the right lug nuts, sometimes the wheels get a little mashed on the face, see if they fit through the back side of the wheel. You may need to file the holes a bit.
Greg weld is out of business and the 5.00 lugs are on closeout.
All prostars have the loose spacer.

take your time putting them on also!
i start by putting all of them on till they just get to the rim, and the pulling the rim out so all of them are started in the rim. then tighten them in a star pattern. DON'T USE AIR!! do them by hand. i have had way too studs messed up when someone tried to put them in with air!
this is probally why you can't get them in! someone tightened them in with a impact, mushrooming the rim. always torque them by hand and recheck after a good drive.

I've had about 4 sets of various types of prostars and/or draglites. They all have this problem. that aluminum on the face is very delicate and flex easily. I usually take a dremmel to each hole and BARELY bore them out, until the lugnut slides through. Remember don't go crazy. The lugnut will go through, but it's TIGHT. So, dremmeling out the hole is just cleaning up the hole more than actually boring it out any.

Just wanted to make sure I have the CORRECT lugnuts before I tinker with making them fit.
