Default WOT 2-1 Shift

The attached chart shows data recorded during a recent test-and-tune session at Infineon that ended early after my brilliant WOT 2-1 shift. I probably lost concentration because I was excited to have a jump on a Porsche GT2. I remember hearing and feeling the rear tires skidding while wondering what was happening. I must have instinctively disengaged the clutch fairly quickly because nothing broke. The data says the engine only reached 7800 rpm. Engine and Transmission both appear to be undamaged. I've inspected my pushrods - none are bent. I did a compression test to see if I had bent any valves - all cylinders are between 205 and 210 psi. There are no new noises. The green trace is throttle position – please ignore my granny shifting. The Porsche went 11.61 @ 124 mph - I never had a chance.

You def lucked out. Had you been running stock push rods, they def would have bent.

I was very lucky - pushrods are stock. I now see, looking at the red trace, that I got the clutch in at the same time I got out of the throttle, about one-half second after the revs start to soar.
