I posted this in the midwest section also,we need more racers. Well it is not pinks all out, but a new deal that they are putting on. Still racing for 10k, spit between four groups. Myself and a bunch of guys from town registered. And from what i here there are still 100 slots left, if they dont have 300 cars they wont do it. I would love to see a ton of lsx powered cars there. The entry fee is $52. The only bad thing is now i am sure i will have to put a cage in my car before i go. I imagine tech will be a little more serious, and i dont want to get kicked out. So any input on cages would be appriciated. Also is it posssible to run a 5 point harness with the stock seats?

awesome you will have to pm me your info and stuff so we can meet up. Like i said for $52 not bad at all. **** the wife and I are in Vegas now for my b-day, we went to the Las Vegas speedway last nite, $75 for just test & tune, no spectator admission, had to watch from the other side of the fence. So price wise this is very reasonable.
guys from my town (pop 700) going so far are
me-98 trans am 402 with spray
95-z28 396, d1sc
90 mustang notch stroked 351 d1sc, nos
3 87 grand nationals (same owner) one runs 8s, one is on a fresh build???
91 z28 383 f1 procharger
2000 stang on spray
1984 mustang gt 350, 347
1992 ranger, 337
too many ford guys, but what do ya do. I think there are a bunch of others from the surrounding area going. Probalby 4 or 5 more lsx cars anyway.

yea you can run race belts with the stock trans am seats the 5 point y type will prob be the best to go with and how much of a rollbar/cage are you planning on doing.i just noticed you are in the 11 second club so you probably only need to do a basic 6 point unless you plan on going faster and want to get the full cage out of the way

no a 6 point will do fine, if i want to go faster than 10.00 i will get another car. The car ran 11.2 with the stock motor and spray, i havent had this combo to the track enough to really know what it will run.
