Bang for the Buck Hey guy i was just wondering from everyones experience wut you think would make the biggest improvement at the track for a stock 00 camaro ss. im am on a budget right now and am looking to start modding my car. lets say for 500 wut are the best things to start with? the car is a auto.
Yank Vig or Circle D 4000-4400 converter and Drag radials will make the biggest improvement in ET for a stock car but your looking at a grand for .7-1.0 off your current ET
If your on a super budget buy a used lid, a set of longtube headers, and a cutout for under $350 or an LS6 intake for $300 and knock off .2-.3 off your current ET

373s installed are going to cost 500-650 and wil knock 0.3 off your Et
A converter goes for 650-700 and will knock 0.5-0.8 of your ET
Both modifications are going to require a set of drag radials to get the most out of them

Dry Nitrous Kit... period. It's the best bang for your buck doing a "one-mod" budget thing. One a stock car it can take a full second off your ET and add 10 mph.
You can install it in your driveway, and used correctly, it will not hurt the car. HSW sells a great kit.

nitrous is the best bang for the buck other then refilling it. still need a set of drag radials no matter what you do.
