Cam also isnt as fast though. After going to the local car show and hearing a few cammed f-bodies I am pretty set on going with a cam.

Go with a cam. You won't be sorry.

Honestly, you can do alot of things to make these cars fast, but my favorite part about my car is how it sounds. I know that is gay, but It just puts a smile on my face everytime I crank it up.

I went with spray first. Cheeper AND you get more power. I didn't have the funds for a headers, exhaust, gears, tune that go along with a cam swap kit. Nitrous was half the price of a cam only setup and gave me more power.

I wouldn't use either of them. You're better off calling one of the big nitrous shops and spending the $ on a custom unit that's gonna work better for your goals.

My vote is N20- keep the good gas mileage, and still have a fast street car/ drag car. Then you can always get a cam down the road since your stall would use the N20 better than the cam.

I know exactly what you mean. This time around I want a cam with more overlap to get more lope from it.

I know a 3200 wont be optimal with a cam, especially a big one but it should be good for n2o. I'd rather not have to buy a $900 converter.

The converter is probably one of the most important things to getting a car to run a #.

Cheap converter= POS.

If you're spending less then 900 on a new converter then the chances are it's not gonna be right,or even what it says it's supposed to be.

Yea I know. If I change converters I'd want to try something different. I've had a yank ss4000 before and it was great. Maybe a 4400 this time.

Would only do a cam if you have the other supporting mods for a cam. If not and money being the problem, then go n.o.s.

Car has headers, ory, cat back, ls6 intake, 3200 stall, what other supporting mods are they besides a bigger stall? I want to leave the 10 bolt stock with 323s.

I went n2o then did a cam. Honestly you'll probably be more than happy whichever you choose, and you'll end up doing the other one soon after .

As for cost, a well set up n2o kit isn't really that cheap...I think my cam setup and nitrous setup were within $100 of each other.
