11.0 to 11.99 NHRA rules ?
you need not only a 5pt harness but a 5pt roll cage w/the drivers side swing open or not being the 5th point, sfi approved fire jacket, sfi approved damper, snell 95 or better helmet, and of corse all the other stuff reguarding driveline, the roll bar can be home made as long as you dont go faster than 11.00, then it has to be approved, and if you still do it yourself it needs to be gas or tig welded

I dont think it changed, the 2002 NHRA rulebook says you need the SFI approved damper from 10.99 and faster, nothing about needing approved damper for 11.99-11.00. As far as the driveline goes, you need a driveshaft loop and thats all.
