Default sub frame connectors and roll cages?

Have you removed your sub frame connectors once you installed your roll cage? I'm thinking about removing mine as they seem redundant and extra weight. What's your thoughts?

You need to leave them on. They become the rocker bar in the case of a roll cage.

Yeah--but they add quite a bit of structural integrity. MADMAN knows.

I was hoping to lose 30lbs also, but Madman knows................so they stay on. I guess the next question is, who makes the lightest sub frame connect?

Probably a tubular chromoly from one of the typical suppliers. Or if you have the tools, fab your own.

Good point, I'll make my own as I have a Tig and chromoly tubing. Thanks for the idea.
