Do you have to run the spanner all the way up? My froont fender is 26" right now to the ground, I can't go any lower..... but I want the weight savings

I just installed them on my car a few weeks ago. I just had the front end aligned Friday, so I have not ran the car yet. My front is also at 26" with about 1 1/2" of thread left on the shock body. They are very nice/well made and I would recommend them to anyone looking to shed weight with drag brakes.
