top end speed way down ???

top end speed way down ??? I'm assuming the 4500 da had something to do with the 102 mph top end speed, but for what this car 60' s, I would think it should pull better. my best 60' last saturday night was 1.608 and it went 12.68 at 104. should I be blocking off the front intake air dam on my ss hood air box? does this compute??
Went to the Semis. I went -.002. I just took to much blub and added a 1/4 pound of air in the fronts before the semis. I was .034 on the tree the run before and wanted tighten up on the tree. I hate it when I think my way out of a race.
I did however move up from 8th in the points to 4th.

I hear that. I think my way out of a lot of races. I've been trying to stay away from that red bulb cause the last 4 team races it got me. I moved up to 6th in points with one race to go. trying for the top 4 for the race of champions. go get em
