Default anyone use the jegs cage???

Yeah YEah I know the wolfe cage is the way everyone goes, the fit is supposed to be perfect and all that good stuff. I am just curious if anyone has went with the jegs cage, seems much more affordable, as compared to the wolfe. So I am curious.

I installed an S and W in mine, was only $270 I think. Ends were all notched and main hoop fit good but all the other ends had to be cut to fit.

i just got done putting an s & w 10 point in my third gen and it fit pretty good. the only problem i had is that the bend at the top of the through dash bars was the same on both sides, so the tubes aren't 100% symmetrical from one side to the other. I made up for most of it through notching, but if you sit down with a tape measure you can tell. I guess it was a combination of the bends being the same and this being the first cage i'd ever installed.

Another thing to note is that the through dash bars are an option...it comes with front tubes that go around the dash; i had to call and order my through dash bars.

i put one in my 95 same thing its real universal but it can be fit in if you hav a bender the bars runnin down the pillar r the only ones that needed alot of bending. i have pics in a thread i had so if you search my posted threads its in there. im happy wit the outcome though i had a gift card so in the end i got a 10pt for lik 190

I used the Jeg's 8 to 10 point conversion front cage section on my Competition Engineering 8 point. Needed a lot of fab work to be useable.

I've installed a few Jegs cages in F bodies and they do require a little fitting but they aren't too bad at all if you know what you are doing and don't mind a little work.
You don't have to use a bender either. I have put the door bars in a couple of them that had stock seats and interior without any rubbing or other issues.

I've been told the S&W stuff is sweet. I imagine that's what will go in my junk when I get home.

S&W and Jegs is the same stuff I believe. I also think the Competition Eng. cage is the same too.
