Out of the hole?

Out of the hole? Well the time has finally come to take my car to the track on Sunday and put some #'s on it. I have a 2001 Formula and will be running 1/8 mi track. My question is, what would be the best way to leave the line? At idle or should I leave at a higher rpm? Any ideas what the car should run (guesstimate)? Thanks

I know the stock converter is my downfall. But that will be my winter project as my $$$$$ are low right now. Thanks for the info. I'll put my day at the track numbers on Drag race results.
