junked everything and started from scratch... i'd either go over head switches or leave it all in tact.... its a bitch and not worth it... there's wires everywere in behind the dash as big or bigger than your wrist running like crazy...

not a worthwhile mod to me... its a pain in the *** and very time consuming and creates no HP

It was a mother ****** to say the least. I had to call my room mate down to the garage a lot to point to the right wires for me. I spent a good two to three weeks of two-three hour nights working on the body harness.

Since you are color blind I would suggest getting some help. A lot of the orange and green wires are very similar and makes it difficult. That's part of the reason I couldn't use the diagrams as they say what color the wires are. Then, you look at the harness and there are at least 20 different color wires running through it. Some are the same color, but have a little stripe on them or some very slight differentiating feature.

If I was doing a racecar I would do like Spaulding did though. That way it would look super clean, reduce weight, and make everything easier to work on since you wired the whole thing yourself.

i would like to go to an overhead switch setup...that was a thought that i had, anyone have any advice on which setup to go with? with a painless harness like that, i still need to turn my stock harness into a stand alone harness right?
