thinking about going glide
my cars a 346 car with 225 shot and 9 inch...i want a trans brake, anything else i should look for? i hear you almsot always get a turbo input shaft so you can run a 350/400 converter...also what kinda price range do these run?
then i gota dump a ton of cash on the converter
also what is needed besides a driveshaft and a crossmember? tranny bolts to the motor, any spacer for the flywheel/converter?

I would highly doubt and need to see a stock used glide run a 5.20. That's ~1000 HP
When you order a glide, you do want a turbo shaft, there are 1000's of converters out there
you can buy or borrow in an emergency.
Like anything, the price can be from a few hundred to several thousand.

Now that I put in my .02, and that was NOT what you asked, so...
yes, you need an adapter. Crank setup is different from Gen I from which the PG was designed for and Gen III/IV as you know. GM has one (get ahold of Scroggin).
