Default msd 2 step launch controller

well i would like to hook connection to the clutch switch, which i would think its by the clutch pedal. but was wondering how the clutch switch works, does it have power all the time and push it down and makes contact, or does it work by pcm ground, and is the clutch switch one wire or two. thanks in advance

I have the same, issue spent last 30 mins taking clutch switch apart and such, I'm not sure how it works, both wires are always showing ground on the clutch switch and no positive. I'm about to just over ride the clutch switch to not be need to start the car and run a ground to the clutch switch and just plug in my 2 step to other side and work on switched ground.

I didn't go with the Lingfelter one because I read to many issue people were having.

The way I did it in post above yours worked fine. I got to test her out and even at 3k launch it takes off under boost

can you go more in the depth a little, its was suppose to be pin 32 and gray wire, or if there is a access hole in the firewall to run a wire inside.

Just drilled a small hole below where the steering shaft goes in on the firewall. Disconnect the clutch safety switch. Take a wire up a open end on one side like a "U" and connect to bolt holding the steering column. Run the other side of wire to one side of safety switch using a connecter. Then put connector on supplied blue wire with msd kit. Connect blue wire to other side of switch. Then Instead of modifying the clutch safety switch connector. Just run a jumper wire from one side to the other.

With this set up the car will start with out the clutch depressed so you need to be more careful. Fastest way I could come up with. Any other ideas welcome.

Man... the LPE launch controll was so easy to install. If I had to sit aournd and figure out what wire does what I would have given up long ago. All I had to do was hook up the clutch switch wire and power. Done lol... Took me more time to decide where to place the box lol.
