Unfortunately my car has street tires on the rear, almost bald ones at that, well my question is i have a spare set of rims i bought awhile back and the tires on them are these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ictoRacer+V700 , now they are smooth across most of the middle except you can still make out the two center grooves. My question is would these make better traction then my dieing street tires or are they just useless?

They are still a harder compound, even though they are smooth. Take your better the best set of tires you have.

Do not expect to set the world on fire. worry about not red lighting.
